Boroo has producing and development mining assets in two continents, Central Asia and South America.

Lagunas Norte Gold Mine

Lagunas Norte is a traditional open-pit truck-shovel heap leach operation that has been in continuous production since 2005. Up until June 2021, the mine has been operated by Barrick Gold Corporation and has produced over 10 Moz of gold.

Under Boroo’s ownership the property is expected to produce around 4 Moz of gold, with a life of mine of 25 years.

Boroo Gold Mine

Boroo is a conventional open-pit mine, which has produced 1.8Moz of gold since 2003 with an average of 2.0 g/t.

The ores extracted from Boroo mine were processed through the Boroo Mill (CIL), with a capacity of 5,500 tpd and the Boroo Heap Leach (CIC), with a capacity of 8,000 tpd.

Ulaanbulag Gold Mine

Ulaanbulag is a small hard rock deposit located 20 km from the Boroo facility.

The project is in operation with a life of mine of 4 years and an annual production of 45,000 oz of gold.
